Functional Strength Training Investing in your physical health pays dividends far beyond a leaner, stronger body. When you train your whole body to the best of your ability, you will also experience growth and development in nearly every other part of your life. Functional Strength Training programs are designed to help you reach your fitness goals in a one-on-one setting. They include regular 60-minute sessions, and customized health and fitness evaluations to create an exercise program based on your individual needs. Progress reports are taken every 6-8 weeks to track your measurable results. Certain medical conditions may require clients to consult with your physician before starting a training program.
Wedding Makeover Preparing for a wedding is a great motivator for getting into shape. Investing in a regular program will not only help get you into the best shape of your life, but can also help you through what can be a very stressful time. With flowers, invites, music, reception, relatives, make-up, and dresses, brides-to-be can use a little reprieve.
If you’re a bride, mother-of-the-bride, groom, bridesmaid or anyone who needs to get in shape for a special event, a Wedding Makeover is perfect for you. Packages include a structured program of personal training, nutritional counseling, fitness assessments, and goal setting designed to help transform your body and fitness level. Recommended training frequency for maximal results is 2-3 times per week.
Nutritional Counseling Nutrition is sometimes an overlooked area of a training regime, yet it is paramount for achieving real fitness results. A person can easily double their progress by implementing a healthier meal strategy. For example, a lack of energy may be directly related to the types of carbohydrates you are consuming. Muscle cramping may be related to dietary levels of magnesium and potassium.
I can help notice and understand your body's signals and respond in ways that give you a healthier, more vibrant life. Nutritional Counseling comes standard with all training services, and my knowledge of nutrition and supplements is based on ongoing research and continuing education.
Flexibility What could be better than enjoying pain-free movement? When you are physically flexible your muscles are able to move easily and painlessly through the full range of motion of your joints. By increasing this range of motion, performance may be enhanced and the risk of injury reduced. The rationale for this is that a limb is able move further before an injury occurs. For example, tight calf muscles may restrict how far you can flex your foot and ankle. If your calves are ever forced beyond this range of movement it can place a potentially dangerous amount of strain on the muscles and tendons. With the regular stretching routines we incorporate into each session, your flexibility will improve dramatically.
Small Group Sessions This program combines an exciting and motivating atmosphere with the expertise of a certified personal trainer. Groups consist of 2–4 people and are ideal for friends or family members who enjoy an energetic team setting. These 60 minute sessions are also offered at a discounted rate.
